Croatia
Croatia formed part of Yugoslavia before its dissolvement in 1991. It is a beautiful and diverse country located on the Balkan peninsula. It is famous for its Adriatic coastline which boasts over 1,200 islands and spectacular scenery. The country is also home to many UNESCO World Heritage sites. These include Krka National Park, home to several of its most famous waterfalls. In recent years, thanks to its beautiful towns, cities and beach landscapes, it has become a sought after destination among travel enthusiasts. In 2024, it welcomed over 20 million visitors. With some of the most visited areas being Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Brac and Zadar among many more. For us, Croatia is the most beautiful country in Europe. It should definitely be on everyone’s travel wish list!
